A huge cannabis farm with more than 800 plants growing inside has been shut down.
Officers found the cultivation in a warehouse on an industrial estate in Poulton Close in Dover last week.
Items of makeshift electrical equipment were also reported to be inside the building and were disrupting the regular electrical installation.
Officers attended and secured the scene while experts made the electrical supply safe.
The cultivation was dismantled and around 800 cannabis plants were removed.
DC Robert Rainbow, of East Kent CID, said: “Cannabis production sites such as this are set up to fuel the illegal activities of large, organised groups whose crimes have devastating effects that ripple out through communities.
“I am pleased that our officers have shut down this cultivation and removed these illegal drugs from circulation, while we continue investigations to bring those involved to justice.”
