Sex Pistols tribute band perform at The Booking Hall, Elizabeth Street, Dover

A Sex Pistols tribute band play on the 45th anniversary year of punk rock becoming a household name.
The show, by The Pistols, will be at The Booking Hall in Elizabeth Street, Dover, from 7pm on Friday.
The Sex Pistols became nationally famous, or notorious, when they swore on live TV on December 1, 1976.
Singer Johnny Rotten let slip one rude word on the London regional current affairs show Today.
But guitarist Steve Jones launched into a foul mouthed tirade, goaded by presenter Bill Grundy.
From then the nation became aware of punk rock and the Sex Pistols were its pioneers.
This spring, in Dover, Deal and Folkestone, director Danny Boyle filmed a TV drama called Pistol, based on Jones' memoirs.
