Air ambulance lands at Snowdown railway station after trespasser reported on line between Canterbury and Dover

An air ambulance was called to a railway station after a man was found injured on the line.
Police and paramedics were called to Snowdown, near Dover, yesterday morning to reports of a trespasser on the tracks.
Trains between Dover Priory and Canterbury East were stopped while emergency services dealt with the incident.
Lines between London Victoria and Dover via Chatham and Canterbury were also delayed as a result.
An ambulance service said: “I can confirm we attended Snowdown railway station after being called to reports of an injured person on the railway line.
“The crews were joined at the scene by Air Ambulance Charity Kent Surrey Sussex.
“The person was brought to safety and was taken to hospital by road with minor injuries.”
A British Transport Police spokesman said: “We were called to Snowdown railway station at about 10.27am yesterday following reports of a trespasser on the tracks.
“Officers attended and a man was taken to a place of safety.”
