Armed police pictured at flats in Stembrook Court, Dover, as Castle Street closed off

A man has been arrested after armed police were pictured storming a block of flats in a town centre.
Officers were seen on the balcony of Stembrook Court, just off Castle Street in Dover, with their guns trained on a door.
Castle Street was closed off by police while they dealt with the incident - but it has since reopened.
In a video shared on Facebook, the officers can be heard shouting: “Armed police! Anyone in the flat come to the door with nothing in your hands.”
Police have confirmed that they were called to Castle Street and a man has been arrested.
A spokesman for the force said: “We were called to a property in the Castle Street area, Dover, following a report that a man had been seen with a suspected weapon.
“Officers were called to the scene at 10.33am. A man has been arrested and taken into custody.
“Officers currently remain at the scene making enquiries.”
