One man has been arrested after a dramatic smash and grab attempt at a store.
Raiders had used a pick-up truck to try to drag away the cash machine at the Co-operative Food store in River, Dover, in October.
Kent Police now say that a 38-year-old man from Arundel in West Sussex was arrested on suspicion of burglary on Monday.
A spokesman said: "He has been released under investigation while enquiries are ongoing."
Police had been called to the raid at the Lower Road store at 2.19am on Monday, October 1.
Neighbours said that they had been woken up by the din of the shop alarm sounding and of raiders at first battering the doors to get inside.
The gang fled empty-handed and a police helicopter was used to hunt them down.
