The family and friends of a woman who tragically died in a car crash on Friday have released pink balloons into the sky in her memory.
Lucy Leadbeater, 27, was named on Sunday as the second victim of a serious accident at Denne Hill, Womenswold, near Canterbury, where Casey Hood, 18, died at the scene
Old friends of Lucy, who has been described as having a "beautiful soul", came together at Dover seafront this evening to remember her life.
The mum of one, who ran Prestige Cleaning, was taken to hospital after the crash but sadly died after the decision was taken to turn her life support machine off.
A couple of young women shouted out: "We love you, Lucy," as the balloons were quickly whipped high into the air by a strong wind.
Event organiser, Lucy's friend Kerry Carey, said: "We did this because we loved her. She had the biggest heart in the world. She was a beautiful person."
Relatives at the balloon release told KentOnline that Lucy was born in Wales but moved to Dover at an early age and attended the town's Astor College.
Another victim, Casey Hood, 18, died at the scene.
A celebration of her life took place at the Cricketers pub in River later that evening.
A mass of mostly young people were seen outside singing: "We love you Casey, we do."
Adding to the tragedy Casey's mother Natalie, of Dover, died in separate circumstances late last weekend.
Details have been passed to the coroner for investigation.
Meanwhile a crowdfunder for the funerals of Casey and her mum Natalie, who died within days of each other, is close to reaching its fundraising target only a day after it was set up.
