Motorbike and lorry collide on the A258 between Deal and Dover

There are traffic hold-ups along the A258 Deal to Dover road this morning after an accident.
A lorry and a motorbike have collided between Station Road and Dover Road at St Margaret's at Cliffe.
The carriageway is currently blocked while emergency vehicles attend.
Drivers are asked to avoid the area if possible.
A spokesman said: "Kent Police was called to a report of a two-vehicle collision on the A258 near the junction with Pond Lane, St Margaret's at Cliffe at 7.12am on Wednesday 2 February 2022.
"Officers remain at the scene and the A258 is currently closed between Station Road and Dover Road, St Margaret's at Cliffe.
"Drivers are advised to avoid the area and seek alternative routes where possible."
The accident happened at 7.30am.
The ambulance service has confirmed it was called to a serious incident but has no further details.
One fire engine also attended.
Elsewhere in the town Dover TAP is in place again on the A20.
