A body has been found in the search for a missing man.

Police say a man was discovered dead after officers attended an area near Dover.

Although formal identification has not yet taken place, the family of Upale Kaloshi, who disappeared 18 days ago, have reportedly been informed, police confirmed today.

The 21-year-old from Deptford, south-east London, was reported missing on May 21 and was thought to have travelled to the district.

Officers were called yesterday to an area near the town where the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

A police spokesman said: “Formal identification has yet to take place, but the family of a man from south-east London who was reported missing on May 21 have been informed.

“The death is not being treated as suspicious.”

No further details about the death have been released and an inquest has not yet been opened.
