00:00, 28 November 2008
A teenager was rescued from a moat on Dover’s Western Heights.
It is believed he fell into the moat, outside the Dover Immigration Removal Centre, while walking home on Friday night.
Fire crews from Dover and Deal were called to the scene and gained access to the moat from the centre.
They then carried the lad to safety on a stretcher.
It is not thought he suffered any serious injuries.
The boy has not been named.
