The Port of Dover is experiencing high volumes of traffic, prompting advice that passengers should leave extra time to check in.
The advice has been issued by Dover Harbour Board this morning.
The situation is the same in Calais, with My Ferry Link tweeting: "Calais Port is currently experiencing delays at their controls, please allow additional time to check-in."
The delays are causing slow traffic at Townwall Street, Dover on he A20.
