NEARLY 70 early aircraft will be flying over Kent this coming weekend as they take part in an event to celebrate 100 years of powered flight.
The Vintage Air Tour starts on Friday when the pilots will fly to Rochester to spend the night.
On Saturday morning they are planning to fly over Dover at around 2,000 feet before heading towards Hythe and Headcorn, where they are due to stop for morning coffee, and then go on to Shoreham.
The aircraft include Tiger Moths, Leopard Moths, Hornets, Rapides and Queen Bees.
