Children were caught setting fire to grass in Elms Vale park yesterday evening.
A member of the public alerted Dover's fire crews at 5.50pm and they spent half an hour at the scene.
A spokesman from KFRS said: "Children are putting themselves at risk and wasting our time putting it out.
"We could have been putting someone's house out."
