Canterbury pair Richard Bowler and David Connor deny killing P&O Ferries chef Alun Williams found dead wrapped in clingfilm in Dover

Two men have appeared in court today and pleaded not guilty to manslaughter after the body of a chef was found wrapped in clingfilm.
Richard Bowler, 35, and David Connor, 22, both of Sturry Road, Canterbury, are alleged to have killed Alun Williams in August last year.
Both were remanded on bail until their trial in December this year.
The body of the 47-year-old P&O Ferries chef, from Shepherdswell, was recovered from a flat above a hairdressers' in East Street, Dover.
Bowler, who suffers from cerebral palsy, was allowed to sit in his wheelchair at the side of court six at Canterbury Crown Court, while Connor appeared in the dock.
Both entered not guilty pleas to two charges, one which was an alternative charge of manslaughter by neglect.
