00:00, 29 November 2001
POLICE say they are "extremely concerned" about the welfare of 68-year-old Harold Elliot, of Park Avenue, Dover, who has not been seen for nearly three weeks. Mr Elliot, suffers from angina and glaucoma and failed to turn up at an address in Weavers Way, Dover, for lunch on Sunday, November 11.
On the day he was last seen he was dressed in black clothing, trousers, shirt, jumper, jacket and shoes. He had no money or other means of financial support with him.
He enjoyed walking in the fields above The Linces area of Dover, but his family and friends say it is very unusual for him not to have got in touch with them. They are very worried that he has not returned home. Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to contact DI Brian King on Dover (01304) 240055.
