Five fire engines were called to tackle a blaze at a flat late last night (Friday).
Crews headed to a property in Hawkesbury Street, Dover, just before midnight after reports of an incident.
They were joined by police and the ambulance service to assist, and used thermal imaging cameras and a hose reel jet to help tackle the fire.
It took just over an hour to put out the blaze and all services left the area at just before 1am.
A spokesman for the fire service said: "Crews wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel to put out the fire.
"There were no reported injuries at this incident."
Kent Fire and Rescue Service on Monday said that the cause of the fire remained unknown.
