Demo at port over live animal exports
00:00, 04 September 2003
ANIMAL rights campaigners were gathering at Dover today following reports that a ship, which had been due to sail with lambs from Berwick-upon-Tweed, is sailing from the Kent port instead.
Members of Kent Against Live Exports were due at the port to demonstrate against the trade in live animals.
The lambs are understood to be destined for Holland.
