Touching tributes to tragic Dover biker Cam Bracey, 21, killed in crash in Upper Road heading towards St Margarets-at-Cliffe

Heartfelt tributes are today being paid to a young biker killed in a crash in Dover.

Cam Bracey, 21, died after losing control of his motorbike in Upper Road and hitting a car.

Friends described the former Canterbury College student as an "amazing guy" as dozens of floral tributes were left at the scene.

Mr Bracey, from Dover, was travelling in the direction of St Margarets-at-Cliffe when tragedy struck at about 3.25pm on Saturday.

Hundreds of people have been sharing tributes and fond memories on a Facebook page called In Loving Memory of Cam Bracey.

Friend Stewart Hedge posted: "Will never understand why bad things happen to such good people.

"It was a pleasure to of known you and share good memories with you Cam.

"You will be sadly missed by so many people. Till we meet again my friend x."

Matt Head said: "Rest in peace to a good friend with a heart of gold loved by so many. Got a lot of good memories to remember you by.

Sending my love and thoughts to Jane, Chris, family and friends and all my respect to all the messages and people who came to lay flowers and pay respects yesterday.

"Rest in peace Cam - always in our thoughts and hearts x."

Friend Hayley Anne Norcott posted: "RIP Cam. Going to miss you soo much. Was such a nice and respectful person.

"Had some proper wicked days/nights with ya and them memories I will treasure forever. Thank you for always being there for me and making me laugh.

"I feel special to have you as one of my friends. Love you dude. Sending my love and hugs to all the family and friends."

Jessica Elgar said: "Still cant believe this! You was always there to make everyone laugh, honestly so lovely and always positive.

"Your smile is going to be impossible to forget. Had some funny times in school. You touched the hearts of many people and you're guna be missed by many.

"Sleep tight mate. Thoughts are with your family and closest friends."

And Charlie Saunders said: "Such an amazing guy, so glad I got to spend most of my life knowing him."

A police spokesman said Mr Bracey appeared to lose control of his bike before being involved in a crash with an oncoming blue Vauxhall Agila.

He was pronounced dead at the scene after suffering head, thorax, abdomen and lower leg injuries.

The Kent air ambulance landed at a nearby field, but Mr Bracey could not be saved.

The driver of the Vauxhall suffered minor injuries, police said.

Police collision investigators are appealing for witnesses to help them establish the circumstances of the crash.
