A man from Dover has been charged with a series of burglary and fraud offences and will appear before crown court.
Police received a report of a burglary at a house in Abbey Road, Dover, on September 16 and within hours recovered the stolen property and arrested a suspect.
Brett Holmans, 20, Ewell Minnis, Dover, has been charged with two counts of burglary, one burglary other than dwelling and one count of attempted burglary of a dwelling with intent to steal.
Investigations linked the burglary to other incidents in the area in which jewellery, computers, and electrical equipment had been stolen.
Holmans has also been charged with three counts of fraud by false representation.
The officer investigating the case, DC David Cox said: "The fact a man was charged within 24 hours of the offence is an example of how the quick and thorough combined work of PCSOs, PCs and Detectives can bring a suspect before the courts."
The case has been committed to Canterbury Crown Council on October 6 and Holmans has been bailed.
