Ducklings rescued from drain on A20, Dover
09:07, 01 May 2017
Firefighters were called to a busy dual carriageway - after ducklings fell into a storm drain.
The retained crew from Eastry, near Sandwich, were pictured on the A20 in Dover yesterday at about 1pm, near the Wellington Dock.
Two ducklings, who were with their mum and six siblings, had fallen through the gaps in the drain cover.
Firefighters reached deep to scoop up the birds before handing them over to the RSPCA for further care.
