Mobility scooter and car crash on A20 Snargate Street in Dover

A crash involving a mobility scooter and a car brought traffic to a standstill on a busy A-road.
Police and paramedics were called to the scene of the collision on the A20 Snargate Street in Dover.
A police spokesperson said: “Kent Police was called at 4.25pm on Tuesday 21 May 2024 to Snargate Street, Dover following reports of a collision involving a vehicle and a mobility scooter.
“One person, the driver of the scooter, was taken to a local hospital for treatment to their injuries.”
Their injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
The route was partially blocked in the eastbound direction and traffic was slow from the Viaduct (Limekiln roundabout) to York Street in the aftermath.
