Emergency crews closed a dual carriageway after a man became wedged under a lorry.
Firefighters helped release a man from a car that had become trapped under the trailer of the lorry after it hit it from behind in a layby close to the Duke of York roundabout, in Guston, Dover.
Crews, who were called out at 8.10pm, used a winch to remove the car and heavy rescue equipment to reach the man, who was released and passed into the care of the ambulance service.
The road was closed in both directions while this incident, which lasted until 9.10pm, was dealt with.
