The towering ship, which has 11 decks arrived shortly after 4am today.

Having become a familiar fixture during 2020 and 2021, the luxury liner was given a send-off from the county last year as it set off around the globe.

It returned to Kent last month following a a seven-day voyage from Barcelona, returning to its familiar spot in the cruise terminal.

The huge vessel - which has a giant Goofy hanging from the stern - is set to draw the eye of those waiting in expected queues at the port this weekend.

Large silhouettes of Mickey Mouse are painted on the ship's red funnels and the boat's horn blasts out the well-known Pinocchio tune, When You Wish Upon a Star.

When operational, it carries up to 2,700 passengers.

It arrived in Kent in the early hours of this morning having travelling recently from stops at Orkney, Scotland and Reykjavik, Iceland.

The ship is registered to the port of Nassau in the Bahamas, and the interior is in Art Deco style.

Disney Magic was the first cruise ship launched by the world famous company in the late 90s.

It recently has announced that traditional character greetings will return to all five of its cruise ships in the fleet.
