AN IMPASSIONED plea has been made to a father of four children who is suspected of murdering his wife.

The plea has come from Mick Denyer whose daughter Michelle was found strangled at her home in Cedar Terrace, Dover, in March.

Breaking his silence for the first time since the death of his daughter, Mr Denyer issued a message to his son-in-law, Neil Fraser, who is wanted in connection with the killing.

Speaking at a press conference called by police in Deal, Mr Denyer said: "Your children love you. Let them know at least if they have a father who is alive and well."

Mr Denyer asked his son-in-law to either telephone him or the police and pleaded for anyone who may be harbouring him to also make contact. "Search your hearts," he said, aiming his request at anyone who may know of Mr Fraser's whereabouts.

Mr Denyer described his daughter as a lovely, bubbly, devoted mother who thought the world of Charlotte, 12, Jamie, 11, Neil, 10, and Dominic, nine.

He added: "She was very popular with neighbours and friends and always there to help people. The children are coping quite well in the extreme difficult circumstances they are in, but now want to move forward."

Mr Denyer said this could not be done unless their father was found and said their education could suffer if the search for him was not successful.
