Filling station robber escapes with £600

POLICE are appealing for information about an armed robbery at the Spot Garage on Crabble Hill in Dover. A man entered the shop at about 7.40pm last nightwith a white carrier bag, believed to contain a firearm, and demanded cash.
He took approximately £600 in the bag and made off on foot. Detectives say he is white, about 50 years old, and about 5ft 10in tall. He is chubby, with a clean shaven face, and ruddy complexion. He was wearing a blue woollen hat, a black puffa style coat, black trousers and a pair of gloves.
