Four people have been arrested after three houses were searched in connection with a series of thefts and burglaries.
Detectives investigating a large number of crimes in east Kent where cars, car keys and number plates have been reported stolen since October 2018, carried out the warrants yesterday.
At around 7am two houses in Dorman Avenue North, Aylesham, and one in the village's Milner Crescent, were searched.
Officers seized laptops and iPads, which they believe are stolen, along with a quantity of suspected class A drugs.
Two women aged 35 and 33 were detained along with two men aged 31 and 34.
They are all from Aylesham and were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit burglary in connection with around 30 thefts and burglaries in the areas of Sandwich, Canterbury and Herne Bay.
They have subsequently been released pending further investigation and enquiries remain ongoing.
