Police have released images of a suspect in a burglary where the thief was chased by villagers.
The CCTV shows a masked man, in a hooded khaki top, approaching the shop, walking inside and then running away.
A man entered a shop in Sandwich Road, Eythorne, at about 6.45am on Thursday, May 30.
He stole the till tray containing a quantity of cashed but was pursued on foot by bystanders as far as Flax Court Lane.
Police are treating this as an aggravated burglary.
Senior investigating officer Det Insp Cara Ferguson said: "The burglary took place shortly after the shop had opened.
"So we want to speak to drivers who perhaps were on their way to work at that time of the morning in the area and captured something of interest on their dashcams, as well as anyone who saw or heard anything suspicious."
