Police had to break up a party at a property in Dover which was breaking lockdown measures.
More than 20 people had gathered at what was described by the chairman of the Clarendon and Westbury Residents Association, as a barbecue yesterday.
A Kent Police spokesman said: "Officers attended a property in Clarendon Street, Dover at around 8.15pm following a report that a group of more than 20 people had formed in the area.
"The group were given advice, in line with national guidance, and those who did not reside at the address were moved on from the area.
"Kent Police officers continue to engage with those not following the government’s instructions, explain why they are necessary and encourage them to take personal responsibility for adhering to the latest national advice."
Currently enforcement through fixed penalty notices will only be used as a last resort.
