Motorists coming in to Dover are still being advised to use the A20 because of long queues on the A20.
The traffic back-up is because of previous delays at the Port of Dover.
Ferry passengers are advised to contact their operators to find out whether more delays are expected.
On Twitter MyFerryLink and DFDS said they are operating to schedule.
But just before 8am, P&O Ferries Freight tweeted it was operating at delays of 45 minutes.
