Apex Drone Photography'S new aerial views of Dover St James' development
16:00, 18 September 2017
These new aerial images show the rapid progress of the St James’ development in Dover.
The construction continues with the £53 million project expected to be completed by the first quarter of 2018.
The external appearance of the new six-screen Cineworld and 108-bed Travelodge hotel, and restaurants are starting to emerge from behind scaffolding.
That month the 24-hour gym Anytime Fitness in August became the latest big name to joine the line-up.
The chain has signed a 15-year lease on a two-storey unit totalling 5,770 sq ft on the corner of Dolphin Passage.
It will become the first gym of its kind to open in the district. The 24-hours-a-day opening is designed for shift workers who would otherwise struggle to keep fit.
It also means that when Dover Leisure Centre relocates to Whitfield in 2019, a gym will continue to serve residents in the town.
Other major names signed up include restaurants such as Nandos, Bella Italia and Frankie and Bennys.
Below are pictures of the progress made last month.
