A man arrested following a stabbing in Dover will now appear at crown court.
Kent Police was called to a disturbance at a home in Shooter’s Hill, Dover at 6.40pm on Wednesday.
When officers arrived at the property they found a man in his 30s who had suffered a stab wound to his leg.
He was taken to hospital for treatment.
Police arrested Frank Chilton, 69, of Shooter’s Hill, at the scene and he was charged with grievous bodily harm with intent the following day.
He appeared at Medway Magistrates’ Court yesterday (Friday) and was remanded in custody.
Chilton will next appear at Canterbury Crown Court on Monday, August 19.
