Man dies in Dover town centre following medical incident

A man died in a town centre following a medical incident, police have confirmed.
Emergency services were called to Ladywell, near Dover Town Hall just after midday on Wednesday.
The ambulance service said the patient died at the scene but it has now been confirmed they were a man in his 50s.
A spokeswoman said: “I can confirm that South East Coast Ambulance responded to this incident. Sadly, one person died at the scene.”
A police spokesman added officers were called to the incident, which is near the town’s police station, at 12.01pm on Wednesday to assist paramedics.
