Appeal after man assaulted near Ladywell, Dover

A man was taken to hospital after being found in a car park with a serious head injury.
Police were called on Wednesday, April 27 at 8.50pm after the man was discovered in the car park near Ladywell, in Dover.
He was taken to hospital for treatment and has since been discharged.
Subsequent investigation suggests the man had been walking between the High Street and the Ladywell car park between 8.40pm and 8.50pm that evening, when he was assaulted by a group of people.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing and officers urge anyone who witnessed the assault, or has dashcam or CCTV which may assist enquiries, to call Kent Police on 01843 222289, quoting reference 46/79602/22.
