Man issued with fixed penalty notice for breaching Covid-19 restrictions at Port of Dover

A man caught breaching Covid-19 restrictions at the Port of Dover has been handed a fixed penalty notice.
Police were called to the scene shortly after 8am today to assist the on-site's officers with the incident.
A spokesman said: "Kent Police was called to Dover Ports at 8.07am on Tuesday, November 10 2020 to assist officers from the Port of Dover Police after a man was reportedly breaching Covid-19 restrictions.
"Officers attended and the man was issued with a fixed penalty notice."
It is not known what restrictions he was breaching or how much the fine was for.
Police have been asked to provide more details.
