Man's body recovered from Channel

THE decomposed body of a man has been recovered from the English Channel by Dover lifeboat crew.
The lifeboat was launched in rough seas and a near gale yesterday afternoon after the crew of the cross-Channel ferry European Highway reported a body in the water, 17 miles east north east of Dover.
The body was brought back to Dover where police have launched an enquiry to try to identify it.
