A suspected migrant incident is developing off the Kent coast.
The Home Office says the Border Force is handling an incident on the Channel at present.
A spokesman said: "Border Force is currently dealing with an ongoing small boat incident in the Channel. Further details will be provided once the situation has been resolved."
The incident has been reported just just hours after the Home Secretary was in Parliament discussing the problem.
Sajid Javid gave evidence before the Home Affairs committee this morning.
There have been four incidents every day between last Sunday and yesterday, usually with migrants being rescued and brought to Dover.
Kent Online has counted a net figure of 39 cases, involving a total 335 people, since November 8, of migrants reaching the Kent coast by small craft. This includes 13 found just yesterday
It has also emerged many groups of migrants are dialling 999 to be rescued as they approach the UK.
