Police say their search for a missing Dover man has been called off after he turned up safe and well.

Stuart Cunningham, 36, was was reported missing after last being seen at around 5pm yesterday (Saturday) in the St Margaret’s area.

He left work but didn’t return home, prompting concern for his welfare.

Police confirmed the search is no longer active, though didn't elaborate on where Mr Cunningham was found, or for how long he went missing.

A Police spokesman said: "Thank you very much to everyone who helped us by sharing the appeal."
