Motorcyclist in his 30s dies following collision on the A2 near Whitfield

A man in his 30s has died following a crash on the A2 near Whitfield.
Police were called at around 5.30pm on Friday, September 8, to the collision which involved a grey Vauxhall Corsa and a white and blue Suzuki motorbike.
It happened on the London-bound carriageway between the Whitfield roundabout and the junction for Lydden.
The rider of the bike sadly died at the scene.
Officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) are carrying out enquiries and would like to hear from anyone who might have witnessed the collision.
They are also appealing for anyone with dashcam or CCTV footage taken in the area around the time to come forward.

The road was closed as a result of the crash sparking heavy delays in the area.
An air ambulance was also at the scene but returned to base.
