Murder suspect appears at Crown Court

A MAN accused of murdering Dover civil engineer Nigel Gosbee has made his first appearance at Crown Court. Michael Boyd, 26, of Cherry Tree Avenue, Dover, was in the dock at Maidstone for a preliminary hearing.
Mr Gosbee, who had a girlfriend Sarah McGhee and a four-year-old son, died near his home in Folkestone Road on November 26.
Judge Andrew Patience QC, remanded Mr Boyd in custody until March 16 when he is expected to enter a plea to the charge.
