Army-style assault courses for all abilities have begun at Betteshanger Park in Deal.

Up to 100 people abilities took on some hard training to fight the Christmas flab.
They joined an induction day for an assault course training, which began in full this week at Betteshanger Park, Deal.
A total 19 have already signed up for the full course, which began this week.

The youngest on the free taster day on Saturday was Harry Tilbury, six, who was helped over the course by his father James.
The next youngest child was eight and with so many families part the course will now expand to provide family sessions.
The instructor was Jay Ingram, from the 2nd Battalion Princess of Wales Royal Regiment.

Sgt Ingram, who officially leaves the forces after 16 years next Monday, was joined on the day by his regiment’s recruiting team.
Among the first to go through the tough obstacles were students from a course called Impact, based at Sir John Moore Barracks in Folkestone. This is for 16 to 14-year-olds considering joining the army.
The course has been set up by the fitness programmes business MY/PT and begun in full last Monday with sessions held seven days a week.
The sessions are for all abilities and levels of experience and range from the more basic forms of training to full battle-style physical training.
All session are specifically tailored to improve fitness levels and will include military-style challenges.
Lorraine Cheesmur, Betteshanger Park general manager, said: “We’re really excited about MY/PT.It will put many people through their paces and help work off the excess of Christmas.
“They will get muddy and sweaty and they’ll be pushed to their limits but it is guaranteed to improve fitness and work off hundreds of calories.”
