Dover officers seize quantity of heroin and crack cocaine following stop and search of man in Victoria Park

A stop and search of a man suspected to be drug dealing led police to seize a quantity of heroin and crack cocaine.
Patrols from the Dover Community Policing Team who had been working with plain clothed officers were tipped off about suspected drug activity in the area.
When they stopped and searched a man in Victoria Park on Thursday, September 17, they found a quantity of Class A drugs.
Aziz Rhamen, of Victoria Park, Dover , has since been charged with possession of heroin and cocaine with intent to supply.
The 40-year-old appeared at Medway Magistrates’ Court the following day and was remanded in custody to appear at Canterbury Crown Court on October 19.
