A closed Dover nightclub will reopen its doors tonight to hold a music night in memory of motorcyclist Cameron Bracey.

The all-night rave at Club Karma, called Cam Bracey’s Memorial Dance will celebrate the life of the motorcyclist who died after he collided with a Vauxhall Agila in Upper Road on Saturday, August 30.

Mr Bracey, 21, of Paul’s Place, left his family, including his mum and brother, plus a large circle of friends.

Cameron had a passion for music events, specifically raves, which is why his close friend Ben Turner has organised a night out at Dover’s top nightspot.

The Adrian Street venue,which closed in August, will re-open especially for the memorial night between 9pm and 6am.

On a special Facebook page to promote the evening, Mr Turner said: "On August 30 2014, Dover and the raving scene lost one of its own to the heavens.

"If you knew Cam or just him on a few occasions you would understand why so many people have come together in support of such a gentleman.

"Club Karma will re-open its doors to help the town and all surrounding ravers celebrate the life of Cameron Bracey.

"All proceeds from the night will be given to Cam's loving family to do with as they wish."

Mr Turner added: "There are already a lot of people coming.

"I am a music artist myself and I do shows every weekend. Cameron used to come with me a lot because he lived in the same street."

More than 20 individual DJs will be taking to the decks and the club is expected to be packed as many friends and acquaintances have confirmed their attendance.

Different rooms within the club will playing a range of music styles including drum and bass, house and grime.

Entry before 10.30pm is £10 and £15 afterwards.

A donation box for Cameron's family will be left at the entrance for those willing to make a donation.

The event is for those 18-years and over, so ID is required at the door.
