Man suffers serious injuries after being hit by lorry on B2046 in Adisham between Dover and Canterbury

A man has suffered serious injuries after being hit by a lorry.
Police and medics were called to reports a pedestrian had been struck in Adisham, near Aylesham, between Dover and Canterbury, this afternoon.
The casualty has been taken to a London hospital with injuries police have described as "serious".
The B2046 Adisham Road remains closed in both directions while officers investigate.
A police spokesman confirmed: "Kent Police was called at 4.05pm on Thursday, April 28 to a serious collision involving a lorry and a pedestrian on the B2046 in Adisham.
"Officers and South East Coast Ambulance Service are currently at the scene where Adisham Road is closed between the junctions with Station Road and Dorman Avenue North.
"A man has been taken to a London hospital for treatment to injuries described as serious."
As of 9pm, the road was still shut.
