Person taken to hospital after crash on coastbound A2 near Aylesham

A person was taken to hospital after they were cut free from a car following a crash on the A2.
The vehicle landed upside down in a ditch following a collision on the coastbound carriageway towards Dover, between Aylesham and Lydden at around 7.30am yesterday (June 29).
Three fire engines attended, and crews worked to stabilise the vehicle.
They cut away at trees and shrubbery to access one person trapped inside, who was handed into the care of SECAmb paramedics.
Police say one person was taken to hospital as a precaution.
Ambulance crews have been approached for comment.
