Police are appealing for information after an alleged assault on a young man in Dover.
The man in his 20s reported that he was walking along Melbourne Avenue at around 2.45am today when a car pulled up alongside him and two men got out and assaulted him.
Officers are currently investigating.
A spokesman for Kent Police said: "A car reportedly pulled up alongside a man aged in his 20s, some people got out of the car and assaulted him.
"There are currently no descriptions of the car or the suspects."
The young man said it all happened so quickly he didn't get a chance to have a look at the car but claims the suspects were both male, around 5ft 6 in height and the car was either dark blue or black.
If anyone saw anything suspicious or has any information they are being asked to call Kent Police on 101 quoting incident number 04-84.
