P&O’s tuneful workplace choir took to the stage at the Hammersmith Apollo on Sunday with star, Susan Boyle.
They performed You Raise Me Up with Susan to end the first half of the show and then finished the show in the second half by performing You’ll Never Walk Alone’, Who I Was Born To Be and I Dreamed A Dream.
The group, who won BBC2’s The Choir: Sing While You Work show, hosted by Gareth Malone have been in demand since Christmas.
They performed at Dover Town Hall with the White Cliffs Symphonic Wind band in February to a packed audience.
They were approached to perform with Susan Boyle as part of her tour last month.
Stacey Young, from the alto section of the choir, said: “Singing on stage at the Apollo with Susan Boyle is a once in a lifetime opportunity that we are blessed to have taken part in.
“After filming the TV programme for the BBC last year we felt we had peaked by winning the show but in actual fact we peaked this weekend on stage with Susan.
“We worked very hard with our musical director Hilary Campbell to perfect our sound and to deliver the best possible performance and we feel that as a choir we’ve never sounded better.
“The word ‘amazing’ often gets used out of context but for us, this experience was amazing.
“Singing Susan’s signature song ‘I Dreamed A Dream’, live onstage with the lady herself to thousands of people is a moment that we will never, ever forget.”
