Part of a road has been closed following a fire at a derelict house.
Three fire engines are at the scene after the blaze broke out in Archers Court Road, Whitfield, Dover, just before 6pm.
People living in the area were advised to close their windows and doors as a result of fumes coming from the fire, but they have since been told it is safe to open them again.
A fire service spokesman said: “Steady progress is being made, and the first section of Archers Court Road will remain closed for the time being.
“No injuries have been reported, and the cause is not yet known.”
Earlier in the day, two fire engines and a height vehicle were working to extinguish the fire.
