00:00, 13 June 2002
MOTORISTS prevented another driver from moving his car after a "road rage" incident at Effingham Crescent, Dover, yesterday morning.
Police were called to the scene just after 10am following an incident between a bus driver and a motorist.
The driver of the car was alleged to have damaged the bus and assaulted the bus driver. Other motorists who saw what was happening blocked his car to prevent him from leaving.
Police said a 29-year-old Dover man had been arrested for assault and criminal damage and released on bail.
