A house in Coombe Valley Road has been damaged after a pile of rubbish in its front garden was found alight.
The front window of the property was damaged as the rubbish was leaning against the wall.
Fire crews got the call at 3.55am.
It took around 45 minutes to put out.
A spokesman for KFRS said: "People should remember to dispose of their rubbish rather than leave it accumulating right outside of their property."
"It shouldn't be there for that reason, there is a potential to start a fire to the rest of the house."
