Man attacked at The Cricketers in River, near Dover

A man suffered serious injuries after being attacked in a pub garden.
Police were called to the rear of The Cricketers on Crabble Avenue in River, near Dover after the incident.
A man in his 30s had been assaulted by another during an altercation, and the victim suffered a head injury which required hospital treatment.
The incident happened on Sunday at about 7.40pm.
A police spokesman said: "Investigating detectives would like to thank those who have already come forward with information, and are appealing for any witnesses who have not yet spoken to an officer."
