Images of Parsons Green bomber Ahmed Hassan at Port of Dover where he was arrested

Stunning images show the man behind the tube terror attack trying to flee the country the day after he planted his bomb.

Ahmed Hassan is seen taking a train to Dover after he committed his outrage at Parsons Green in London on Friday, September 15.

CCTV footage shows him arriving at Dover Eastern Docks early on the Saturday morning before police suddenly appear on haul him into the back of a van.

He is filmed walking into Dover Eastern Docks just after 7am, wearing a brown woollen hat and sweater and carrying a blue rucksack.

He is then seen sitting in the lounge at the ferry foot passenger terminal at 7.15am.

At about 7.18am he gets up to go outside, sitting on a bench for just over 20 minutes.

By 7.39am the net is closing in as two policemen walk over and speak to him.

The film shows six officers swooped in on him at 7.52am.

By 8.02 am he is hauled from the bench by the officers and taken in handcuffs into the back of a police van.

Hassan, 18, of Sunbury, Surrey, was today (Friday) convicted of attempted murder following the tube bombing in west London the morning before.

The judge at the Old Bailey will later sentence him in line with Section 30 of the Terrorism Act 2008.

The bombing was the fifth terrorist attack in England in six months in 2017.

It was the only one that didn't claim lives although 30 people were injured.
